I spent most of my life relying on myself, not God. I thought that I did not need God in my life because I found my strength "from within." It was not until late 2005 that the Holy Spirit worked through my friend/co-worker to change my heart and my life. All she did was invite me to her church. That is all it took. I began to attend church with her regularly, but I felt that it was not the church for me. I was looking for a church with a better sense of community, warmth, and friendship. I started "church shopping" via internet websites to find a church whose beliefs were in line with my own. I visited two other churches before King of Glory and after my first visit here, I knew I had found my church home! I attend the 10:45 service and I love it. The praise team is great and I love that many of the songs we sing are played on the local Christian station. Living life in Christ and becoming a member of King of Glory are two things that have truly changed my life in amazing ways!

Our first day, we were warmly welcomed. To me, that made the first impression. I was raised with a traditional service, so we started going to the 8 am service. We then wanted to try the contemporary service. We have been going to the 10:45 service ever since. We love the atmosphere this service has. Although, we learn about God and Jesus through pastor, we have a laugh about ourselves too. I know when I leave church with a smile, it just makes my day. Our daughter goes to the preschool as well as Sunday school. So I know she is going in the right direction....that she knows what it means to be a Christian. We also love the extra activities that KOG has, especially geared towards families. Just to have a good time with fellow Christians and be yourself, you end up having a good time! We have found our home in KOG, and hope to be here for a long time.
